TARSHI Corner: November 2023

Updates from the TARSHI Team: What we were up to in October 2023.

1. We hosted the first-ever Reading Workshop with the students of OP Jindal Global University. They seek to encourage discussions on pleasure-affirming sexuality among young people using In Plainspeak articles.

2. Students from different US universities attended a session on sexuality and intersectionality in the Indian context at the TARSHI office in New Delhi.

3. We launched a report on non-profit organisations' and collectives’ policies and approaches towards making all workplaces Safe, Inclusive, and Self-Affirming, or SISA, based on interviews and surveys we conducted in 2021.

4. We held a webinar on “Inclusion and intersections in the NGO workplace: Where are we?” to launch the above report. It featured Deepa Pawar (Anubhuti) and Vandita Morarka (One Future Collective) in conversation with each other.
