Delhi-based AFA that was started in 1991 “to provide support and services to persons with autism and their families, and to create an environment in India in which people with ASD are able to grow to their full potential.” The website has information regarding care and services for autistic children in India as well as links to information and education resources about autism.
Astha is a cross-disability organisation working with children and persons with disabilities in urban slums and resettlement colonies of Delhi and in rural areas of Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh. It provides walk-in service for referrals, counselling and also runs a National Disability Helpline which can offer information about schemes, policies and rights of persons with disabilities. CTH is an Indian organisation that provides information and services such as mentoring and tele-counselling for people with disabilities. The “Online Teaching” section provides virtual education facilities to children with disabilities who cannot attend mainstream schools due to “inaccessibility, lack of facilities and awareness about the needs of students with disabilities.”

The Disability Rights Fund (DRF) is a grant-making collaborative between donors and the global disability rights community that empowers persons with disabilities to advocate for equal rights. National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP)
NCPEDP is a cross-disability not-for-profit organisation working as an interface between the Government of India, industry, international agencies, and the voluntary sector “towards empowerment of persons with disabilities.” The website features the organisation’s publications, including information on the Rights of People with Disabilities Act 2016 in various Indian languages.
