This organisation works “to promote, protect and advance women’s sexual and reproductive rights and health in Asia, by promoting access to comprehensive safe abortion services and by reducing unsafe abortion and its complications.” They provide answers to common questions about abortion, as well as information about the status of abortion in different countries and links to external resources.
AVERT: AIDS & HIV Education and Research Trust
AVERT is an international AIDS charity based in the U.K that provides information on HIV and AIDS education, prevention, testing, and treatment. It also has resources for professionals who want to know more about the global status of HIV and AIDS.

Fertility Dost is an India-based website that has information and resources for people experiencing infertility. Hear what the experts have to say, read true stories, check out the discussion forum, read the blog, or submit a question for expert review.
Hidden Pockets is a platform that connects young people with trusted professionals in sexual and reproductive health. It also runs a care line service on WhatsApp across cities in four languages for now. The website has a pregnancy test calculator under “Am I Pregnant” section. Read their blogs under “Pleasure Pockets” to learn more about different kinds of pleasures.
This website provides extensive infertility information including: in vitro fertilization (IVF), GIFT, ZIFT, TET, ICSI, infertility clinics, donor egg and surrogacy services, and infertility legal services. The website is US-based and provides resources for consumers as well for professionals.
International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)
In the South Asian region, IPPF works with nine members - Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Iran, Maldives and Sri Lanka. The organisation works towards “providing locally relevant services in a highly challenging context of extreme poverty, gender inequity, restrictive laws, socio-religious barriers, and vulnerability to natural calamities.” The “News” and “Resources” section provides latest information regarding SRHR.
The Naz Foundation Trust has been “working on HIV/AIDS and sexual health issues since 1994.” The organisation is based in Delhi and provides “prevention, treatment & advocacy programmes for underserved populations.” These include a care home for orphaned children living with HIV, capacity building and training workshops for individuals and organisations working on “HIV/AIDS”, providing counselling, outreach, medical treatment and legal services to the LGBT community.
This site, based on the book Our Bodies, Ourselves, provides “accurate, evidence-based information and resources on sexuality and reproductive health.” It also has chapters of Our Bodies, Ourselves that have been translated into many different languages, including Arabic, Armenian, Bangla, Kiswahili, Nepali, Vietnamese and more.
This US-based organisation provides accurate and extensive information on sexual and reproductive health, with sections on abortion, general health, cancer, relationships and more. They also have resources specifically for teens, parents and educators.
SAATHII (A variety of South Asian languages & English)
SAATHII is an organisation which “envisions universal access to rights, health. Legal and social services for communities marginalised on account of HIV status, gender and/or sexuality.” The site has many resources in terms of case studies, reports, publications, blog, FAQs. They conduct various research and implement programmes on topics ranging from HIV to LGBTQIA+ community development to increase information dissemination and resource accessibility in India.
Sama is a Delhi-based resource group which works on issues related to women and health through trainings, research, advocacy and information dissemination. The ‘Publications’ page provides information on policies and reports on women and health.
SNEHA is a Mumbai-based organisation working on women and children’s health, as well as gender-based violence. Their website has information on child sexual abuse, domestic violence and rape and sexual assault, including definitions, Indian law, how to get help and more.
The Body: A Complete HIV and AIDS Resource
This US-base site provides information and education about HIV prevention and AIDS treatment and care around the world. This site has information for the layperson as well as for professionals looking for the latest information on HIV and AIDS, on policy and advocacy related issues, events and conferences. It has sections with topics like: what to do if you’ve just been diagnosed, information about medication side effects, HIV testing 101, “Living Well with HIV” and more.
The Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (Chinese & English)
This site has information about contraception, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, fertility, menopause and more. It also has resources on sexuality education in Hong Kong as well as statistics and research reports on sexual and reproductive health in Hong Kong.
“UNAIDS provides the strategic direction, advocacy, coordination and technical support needed to catalyse and connect the leadership from governments, the private sector and communities to deliver life-saving HIV services.” The “Resources” section provides information regarding HIV and AIDS in the form of publication, FAQs, info graphics and many more.
World Health Organization: Sexual Health (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish & English)
The WHO provides general, basic information and more technical information about sexual health on this page. It also has statistics and information about sexual health in specific regions, such as Africa and Asia.
