This guide is one of a four-part series of guides from TARSHI titled Sexuality Education in Action: Guides for Educators Across Ages. Other guides are for educators of preschool, primary school, and middle school students.

This guide, Empowering Choices, is for high school students and is based on TARSHI’s decades of experience working with educators on CSE. It covers key topics related to the body, sexuality and relationships that are pertinent to students in high school, how you as an educator could prepare to engage students on these topics, and steps your school could take to support you in this journey. As young people come towards the end of their school journey, they grapple with real-life experiences and decisions around issues such as gender identities, families, and their bodies.
