Upbeat. Bold. That\u2019s disability rights activist and comedian Nidhi Goyal. In this TEDx Talk, Nidhi busts myths and stereotypes about disability and also reveals what led her to work for the rights of individuals with disabilities less privileged than her. <br><br>Nidhi is a gender and disability rights activist as well as a comedian. She researched and co-authored <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sexualityanddisability.org\">www.sexualityanddisability.org<\/a>, an initiative by Point of View meant as a resource for girls and women with disabilities. She is the founder and director of the Mumbai-based non-profit <a href=\"https:\/\/risingflame.org\/\">Rising Flame<\/a> which works on the rights of individuals with disabilities with a special focus on women and youth. Nidhi was featured in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tarshi.net\/inplainspeak\/nidhi-goyal\/\">interview<\/a> in In Plainspeak\u2018s June 2015 issue themed The Body and Sexuality.
