Only sometimes<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sometimes my love is<\/p>\n

as expansive as the earth itself<\/p>\n

Patient<\/p>\n

None of the restlessness of a filly<\/p>\n

High-strung and bounding<\/p>\n

with purpose it is yet to realise<\/p>\n

Sometimes I could lie back<\/p>\n

and watch you from this distance<\/p>\n

At ease<\/p>\n

Knowing without reason<\/p>\n

that it is enough<\/p>\n

to love and not own<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But<\/p>\n

only sometimes<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No filter<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It has been ages, hasn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Distance in miles, distance in minutes, distance in memories, which is the farthest?<\/p>\n

Lapsed conversations may become a habit, you say; termites eating through bonds of wood, fattening themselves up on unspoken stories<\/p>\n

Stream of consciousness is streaming nonsense. #nofilter<\/p>\n

What am I saying, you ask<\/p>\n

Were I to die today, I\u2019ll have only three pallbearers I can call friends<\/p>\n

What am I saying, you ask again<\/p>\n

Not a thing, I say. Go back to your day. Just wanted to say, hey. It went a bit astray.<\/p>\n
