Though, sometimes, there are other benefits that aren\u2019t available to us, social or cultural factors that do hinder us in some ways, we may still have areas in which we\u2019re more advantaged than others \u2013 for example, a lot of us who are English-speaking and college-educated but may fall within marginalised gender or sexual identities, fail to recognise that we do have class privilege \u2013 and it is important to be aware of it. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robot-hugs.com\/privilege\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robot Hugs<\/a>\u2019 comic on <em>Privilege<\/em> helps us do just that, giving us a set of effective tools through which we can acknowledge our privilege and use it do good in the world, and amplify the voices and the causes that require being amplified.<\/p>\n<p>[slideshow_deploy id=&#8217;17300&#8242;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Often, we take certain things for granted, forgetting that there are certain privileges and power dynamics which we benefit from even if we don\u2019t realise it.
